Support for Individuals with Physical Disabilities

Access to all areas of the ub.mdw is barrier-free.

If needed, individuals with physical disabilities can obtain support for using the library from library personnel.

Literature Service for Blind and Visually Impaired Individuals

The University Library offers a free service to blind and visually impaired members of the university community to convert printed and electronic texts from its collection into accessible formats. Automated optical character recognition (OCR) enables access to the content using assistive technologies, such as screen readers (in .docx or .pdf format).

You can find literature that has already been made accessible in our online catalog.
